ANALISIS KOMPARATIF USAHATANI PADI VARIETAS IR 64 DAN VARIETAS PEPE DI KECAMATAN POLOKARTO, KABUPATEN SUKOHARJO

Abstract

The objective of this research is to know and compare productivity, revenue, efficiency, and also to conclude which one is giving more benefit for farmers between rice farming IR 64 variety and rice farming Pepe in Karanganyar Regency. The method used in this research was analytical descriptive  with survey in implementation. The location was selected purposively and it was Kemangsan village, Polokarto sub-district, Karanganyar Regency. Snowball sampling method is used to choose the sample. Rice farmers revenue for IR 64 is Rp 19.109.626,20 per  hectare  greater than the revenue of rice farmers Pepe Rp 13.251.557,63 per hectare. The cost of IR 64 variety is Rp 13.809.433,50 per hectare also greater than Pepe variety (Rp 11.028.777,20 per hectare). To obtain a larger income on farmers' rice IR64 (Rp. 13.809.433,50 per hectare) than rice farmers Pepe (Rp 11.028.777,20 per hectare). From the R/C ratio, farming Rice IR64 (2,24) more efficiently than with Rice farming Pepe (1,99). And based on the analysis of B/C ratio (3,14) that has been done then it can be deduced that the Rice farming in Sub Polokarto good for both varieties IR64 and varieties Pepe equally beneficial, because any additional costs can still provide additional revenue is greater.
