PENATAAN DAN PEMANFAATAN RUANG TERBUKA (OPEN SPACE) UNTUK TEMPAT BERKUMPUL INFORMAL DI SEPENGGAL JALAN SLAMET RIYADI SURAKARTA

Abstract

Locus in this study with a piece of road Slamet Riyadi. Because the road runs from Slamet Riyadi Surakarta until Kartosuro, Sukoharjo district, then the locus investigated only the incoming administration area alone Surakarta. The purpose of this study, are (1) To identify the open spaces (open spaces) on a piece of road Slamet Riyadi from the gate entrance (gate) to the west until the intersection Gendhingan (Church of St. Petrus), which was analyzed to be used as a gathering place for informal (informal communal space) that is conducive Solo City community, and can be integrated with the surrounding neighborhoods. (2) To make the idea of planning the design, where the open spaces (open spaces) can be used as an informal community gathering place, as a place for social interaction, can communicate with each other, and also as a place for traders to sell five feet (PKL). To make the idea of research findings about the patterns of settlement and the utilization of open spaces (open spaces) as an informal piece of communal spaces in Slamet Riyadi from the city gate entrance (gate) to the west until the intersection Gendhingan (Church of St. Petrus).
