Region: Jurnal Pembangunan Wilayah dan Perencanaan Partisipatif (E-ISSN: 2598-019X) has been published by the Center for Regional Information and Development (PIPW) under the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) Universitas Sebelas Maret Indonesia. It contains scientific articles that contain original work and have novelty or scientific contribution in the scope of regional development and participatory planning.

Region journal has been accredited by National Journal Accreditation (ARJUNA) or Sinta (Science and Technology Index), Managed by Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, Indonesia with 2nd Grade (Peringkat 2, Sinta score 2) since Volume 20 (1) 2025 according to the Decree of the Directorate General for Research and Development, Ministry of Higer Education, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Indonesia No. 295/C/C3/KPT/2026.

Region also indexed by DOAJ, ICI World of Journals and Garuda (Indonesian digital reference from Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, Indonesia).

Region journal is published twice a year in January and July. Region: Jurnal Pembangunan Wilayah dan Perencanaan Partisipatif receives scientific articles in fields relevant to urban and regional development issues. The articles submitted will be evaluated and adjusted according to the journal writing format by the Editorial Board.
