Abstract

Abstract: Adjie Santosoputro is a practitioner of inner awareness of the homeland and the initiator of the Santhosa Emotional Healing Center. Adjie Santosoputro often spreads messages in tweets on his Twitter social media as a form of concern for the millennial generation to be more aware of the importance of mental health. In his delivery, he uses repetition to emphasize the message. The purpose of this study to describe and analyze the repetitions contained in the @AdjieSanPutro twitter tweet. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data source in this study is Twitter, while the data in this study is the repetition contained in the Twitter tweet of @AdjieSanPutro in January - June 2022. The data were collected using the listening method and note-taking technique. Data analysis was carried out using the distribution method and the basic technique of repeating. The results of this study found that the most widely used repetitions in tweets on the @AdjieSanPutro twitter account is anaphora repetitions. This is done by Adjie because the repetition gives a certain atmosphere and impression that is emphasized at the beginning of the sentence so that it can emphasize meaning, add aesthetic value, and show quantity, so that readers will more easily catch the message in his tweet.
