POSISI DAN FUNGSI SEMANTIS PREPOSISI “RI” DALAM CERITA RAKYAT BATU MEMMANA’E DI KABUPATEN BONE SULAWESI SELATAN

Abstract

Abstract: This research refers to the Regional Language Map data in Indonesia, that Indonesia is a country with a very high diversity of languages, reaching 718 regional languages. With this fact, the researcher decided to focus on analyzing the regional languages by knowing their position and semantic function. The aim of this research is to describe the use of the preposition "Ri" in the selected language which is Buginese as the language under study. The type of research chosen is qualitative where the data collected is in the form of sentences containing prepositional elements, derived from data sources in the form of folklore from Bone, South Sulawesi. Data collection was carried out by observing and recording techniques. This study was analyzed using the agih method with the expansion technique to explain the position of the preposition "Ri" in the sentence. Based on the results of the study, the researchers concluded the findings of prepositional functions include: place relationship markers, causal relationship markers, actor relationship markers, equality relationship markers, time relationship markers, event relationship markers and origin relationship markers.
