RELIGIUSITAS TOKOH UTAMA DALAM NOVEL MERINDU CAHAYA DE ASMTEL KARYA ARUMI E. DAN IMPLIKASINYA

Abstract

Abstract: Novels are literary works that are able to be an alternative positive learning teaching material to develop the character of a mindset in living life for students, one of which is religious values. The religious value that reflects this is in the novel Merindu Cahaya De Amstel. The purpose of this study was to detect the form of religiosity of the main character in the novel Merindu Cahaya De Amstel by Arumi E and its implications as literature teaching materials in high school. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, for the data comes from the structure of the conversation and the overall content and quotes of the story in the novel Merindu Cahaya De Amstel which contains the religiosity of the main character. Sources of data are novels and syllabus or high school curriculum. Data collection techniques used in the study were library techniques, reading techniques, and note-taking techniques. The data validity technique used is triangulation. The analysis in this study was conducted using content analysis techniques. The results of the research in the Merindu Cahaya De Amstel novel are stated that there are positive elements of faith, moral, and Shari'a education so that they are appropriate to be implied as learning teaching materials for students which will later be poured into words and actions.
