REGISTER OF NETIZEN POSTS RELATED TO COVID-19 IN SOCIAL WEB
Abstract
Abstract: Register is a variation of language based on its use. These language variations are manifestations of diversity that are displayed based on the context that accompanies them, including speakers and their use. This study aims to describe the forms of registers contained in the status of nitizen related to Covid-19 on social networks, both WhatsApp status, Facebook, and insagram. Data collection techniques by documenting netizen status register data related to Covid-19 on social networks. This study data in the form of words, abreviations (shortening), codes, terms, and discourses including registers in netizens status through social networks from March to May 2020. Technical data analysis using interactive analysis. The results and discussion of this study indicate that the characteristics of netizens register forms through social networks in the form of orders, calls, hopes; abreviations, abbreviations, decapitations, acronyms, contractions, greetings, codes, and special terms.
