KAJIAN SOSIOPRAGMATIK TINDAK TUTUR DIREKTIF BERLATAR BELAKANG BUDAYA LOKAL LEMBAH PALU SULAWESI TENGAH

Abstract

Each person processes the linguistic situation and their mutual interactions at different levels dependent individuals. In communications, hearer could be affected, disturbed, but can also work together. One of them with the use of follow-directive in the local language that has its own uniqueness. The principle of civility and social distance raises reciprocal interaction different from everyone. That language is built on a culture that is closely related to the society itself. The uniqueness of the use of language is always related to culture in which humans grow and develop, become a unifying heterogeneous ethnicity, race, culture, and religion. Study of the socio-pragmatic follow-up form local languages as cultural markers from the aspect of the use of directive speech act with the context of the differentiator in this study. This research is descriptive qualitative invitation key data in the form of speech students formal and informal interaction in universities of Central Sulawesi. Analysis of data using interactive data analysis by Miles and Huberman. Thus, the findings of this study led to the conclusion that when one learns about one's language means learning about the culture as well. In the context of academic discourse, the degree of heterogeneity of students of different types of ethnicity, age, gender and culture be melting if between speaker and hearer have the context of shared knowledge. The use of said directive in the local languages in a variety of local accents Central Sulawesi in greeting kinship, refuse, command, prohibition, the request by the diversity of forms, functions, and strategies. Hearer should understand the exact meaning of what is desired by the speakers that follow the directive selection of local languages may represent modesty even in the realm of command. Politeness is not only based on verbal markers but also marked by phonetic cues. Forms of politeness in the use of elements of directive speech acts are also affected by distance and social dominance speaker and hearer.
