Abstract

Innovation for assistance handycrafts workers clay in the Donorojo and Bondowoso village, in Mertoyudan, Magelang with is a manifestation of concrete activities to motivate and training for the people in the area affected by the trauma post-eruption Merapi and Kelud Mountain some times ago, of social changes post-disaster. Methods used is assistance in a training technically and detailed of intelligible for the handicrafts workers. Resulting of the products from the community were considered less innovative so impressed lost in the value of selling with products from other regions but not suffered from trauma post-disaster. There are several steps in this flanking activities, among others preparation, implementation, and evaluation .Third of this phase be done in the more or less for five months. The end of this activity got that products the clay from the handicrafts workers in the Donorojo and Bondowoso village, Mertoyudan, Magelang more innovative and having selling price that better than before received training.
