OPTIMALISASI PENGOLAHAN LIMBAH EKSTRAKSI USAHA KECIL OBAT TRADISIONAL SEBAGAI PAKAN TERNAK

Abstract

Feed is an important part in the growth of the animal because it is used as a nutrient for growth. Feeding should consider nutritional factors and economic factors in the selection of feed components. Herbal company CV Naturafit Thibbunnabawi a small business traditional medicine (UKOT) in Sragen, Central Java and has had more than 50 items products. The increasing demand for herbal medicine makes increasing use of raw materials such as crude drugs which impact on the rest of the pulp byproduct of that is the result of extraction. The purpose of service activities is to perform the extraction of waste treatment mangosteen peel for animal feed. The Outcome of service activities is the formation of chicken feed known physical and nutritional properties. The test results on the physical properties and nutritional value of the feed is known MC (Moisture content) amounted to 33.16% and LOD (Lost on Drying) 49.61%. For the nutrient content of feed is known to contain total energy 394.54 kcal / 100 g; 8.94% total fat; 14.03% protein; calcium 694.99 mg / 100g and 2:11% crude fiber.
