Implementation of learning by doing method for enhancing the understanding working principles of motor and generator electric to the XII year students of MAN I Grobogan

Abstract

Material and Sensor Magnetic Research Group FMIPA UNS has executed community services to the 15 teachers and 36 grade XII students of MAN I Grobogan in order to enhance their understanding the working principles of electric motor and generator by employing learning by doing method. The effectivity of the method can be seen from the comparation between the score before and after the students has completed their own experiments. The average pre-test score is 67 whereas the post-test score is 84. It could be concluded that the students easier understood the concept when the learning by doing method was implemented.
