Abstract
The study aimed to improve natural sciences learning outcomes to the 6ththeme ‘heat transfer’ for fifth grade students through application of guided inquiry model with multimedia. It was a collaborative classroom action research conducted in three cycles. Types of data were quantitative data and qualitative data. The subjects were teachers and 30 students of fifth grade of SDN 2 Karangpoh in academic year of 2019/2020. Data collection techniques included test, observation, and interview. Data validity used data triangulation and source triangulation. Data analysis included data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results indicates that the guided inquiry model with multimedia improves natural sciences learning outcomes to the 6ththeme ‘heat transfer’ for fifth grade students of SDN 2 Karangpoh in academic year of 2019/2020.Keywords
