FACULTATIVE INWARD APPLICATION DESIGN USING PEGA PLATFORM AT PT. SINARMAS INSURANCE

Abstract

The rapid development of the insurance industry resulted in the emergence of many companies providing insurance services and offering various products. Facultative Inward is one form of application used by insurance companies to share insurance coverage and premiums to be paid by customers. Initially PT Asuransi Sinar Mas use this application with ASP platform but experienced various shortcomings including long time in searching data offer, display confusing, and unable to make Business Flow. In anticipation of this, PT Asuransi Sinar Mas is refining the platform system from ASP to PEGA System focusing on the ease of managing Business Process Management (BPM) as an intermediary between the business community and IT, to accelerate the policy issuance process of incoming bids. This study aims to produce inward facultative application module design using PEGA platform to accelerate the process of inputting the already recieved Offer data up to the issuance of the policy. As a result, the design of this application module provides many advantages over time efficiency and increased operational visibility that enables better governance and control.
