| 4. | Description | Abstract | Penelitian ini berupaya memahami dan menganalisis literatur pembelajaran IPA pada tingkat SD/MI guna menumbuhkan generasi sadar lingkungan. Topik ini dipilih karena pentingnya memasukkan pendidikan lingkungan hidup ke dalam kurikulum sekolah dasar guna mengembangkan kesadaran ekologis pada usia muda. Teknik penelitiannya berupa kajian literatur tentang metode pembelajaran IPA dan pendidikan lingkungan hidup pada tingkat sekolah dasar/menengah. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya metodologi pembelajaran yang menghubungkan konsep sains dengan tantangan lingkungan, mendorong partisipasi aktif siswa, dan mendorong tindakan nyata untuk perlindungan lingkungan. Ditemukan pula bahwa pengintegrasian pembelajaran IPA dan lingkungan hidup dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep ilmiah dan meningkatkan sikap peduli lingkungan. Temuan penelitian ini menekankan perlunya memasukkan komponen lingkungan ke dalam kurikulum sains SD/MI. Hal ini diyakini akan melahirkan generasi yang tidak hanya berpengetahuan luas namun juga peduli terhadap kelestarian lingkungan. Konsekuensi dari temuan tersebut mendorong penyesuaian metodologi pembelajaran ilmiah untuk memenuhi tujuan pengembangan karakter peduli lingkungan di tingkat dasar. This research aims to comprehend and analyze literature on science education at the elementary level (SD/MI) in order to cultivate an environmentally conscious generation. The topic is chosen due to the importance of incorporating environmental education into the primary school curriculum to develop ecological awareness at a young age. The research methodology involves a literature review on science education methods and environmental education at the elementary/secondary school level. The findings highlight the importance of a teaching methodology that connects scientific concepts with environmental challenges, encourages active student participation, and promotes tangible actions for environmental protection. It is also found that the integration of science education and environmental education can enhance understanding of scientific concepts and foster a caring attitude towards the environment. The research findings emphasize the need to incorporate environmental components into the science curriculum of SD/MI. This is believed to produce a generation that is not only knowledgeable but also cares about environmental sustainability. The implications of these findings drive the adjustment of scientific teaching methodologies to meet the goal of developing environmentally conscious characters at the elementary level. |
