Author Guidelines

Manuscript shall be written in the following rules:

The manuscript submitted has never been published in other journals or media. The authors shall not submit the articles under the peer blind-review process to other journals until the authors accept the notification from the IJCPR.

Indonesian Journal of Conflict and Peace Research only publishes articles in English (British and American English) written consistently throughout the text. We suggest that non-native authors contribute to proofreading their papers before the submission process.

The article consists of 5,000-7,000 words, including the abstract (250-300 words with keywords three to five words), introduction, findings and discussion, tables, figures, and references.

Articles are written in the format of Goudy Old Style, font 11,5, 1,25 multi spacing. Avoid using point bullets or numbered notations in the text.

Submission of articles in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx) or Rich Text Format (RTF) through the Open Journal System (OJS). The paper uses APA 7th edition style.

The author's name appears in the text without the title, and the redaction only contacts the first author regarding the submission process.

Submission Preparation Checklist

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
