DARI RUANG KELAS MENUJU HABITUS: STUDI FENOMENOLOGIS ATAS PRAKTIK BERBAGI FAKTA ILMIAH DI KELAS

Yogi Maulana Wahyudin

Abstract

This study seeks to examine how students construct and interpret social reality through the practice of sharing scientific facts derived from social and humanitarian research within a sociology classroom. The study adopts a narrative phenomenological approach, with particular emphasis on capturing and analyzing students’ subjective lived experiences. Data were systematically collected through students’ reflective writings, classroom observations, and the documentation of instructional practices. The findings reveal that the practice of sharing scientific facts significantly enhances students’ scientific literacy while simultaneously shaping their conceptualization of “facts” within a social context. Moreover, this practice contributes to the development of dialogic classroom discourse, in which knowledge is actively negotiated rather than passively received. Consequently, the classroom transforms from a conventional site of knowledge transmission into a dynamic space for meaning-making, ultimately facilitating the emergence of a nascent scientific community.
