Pengaruh Workplace Bullying Pada Kepuasan Kerja, Komitmen Organisasi, Dan Niat Untuk Berpindah Dengan Strain Sebagai Variabel Mediasi

Abstract


This research aims to analyze the influence of workplace bullying on job satisfaction which are mediated by strain; the influence of workplace bullying on organizational commitment which are mediated by strain; also the influence of workplace bullying on intention to turnover which are mediated by strain. This research is a causal research which uses survey method. The sample of this research is the employees who work at low-level management at less than 35 years old and work period between 0-3 years. The sample is taken from 181 respondent who are the employee work at paper industry company in Surakarta by using purposive sampling technique. The result of this study concluded that strain fully mediates the influence of workplace bullying on job satisfaction; strain partially mediates the influence of workplace bullying on organizational commitment; strain partially mediates the influence of workplace bullying on intention to turnover. The result of hypotheses hopefully can give an understanding for HRM practisioner including the policies which have to be made to protect the employees from phenomenon of workplace bullying. It also can broaden the perspective of the company to maintain positive relation with the employees in order to prevent workplace bullying and also to improve job satisfaction, organizational commitment and to reduce intention to turnover of the employees.
