The ESTA Journal invites submissions for an issue on advanced materials and energy storage. This issue will focus on new and renewable energy sources, battery management systems, and policy developments in energy storage.

We welcome original research articles, review articles, and perspectives that cover a broad range of topics related to energy storage, including but not limited to:

• Advanced materials for energy storage systems
• Electrochemical energy storage devices, including batteries and supercapacitors
• Thermal energy storage technologies
• Innovative energy storage systems for renewable energy integration
• Battery management systems, control, and optimization techniques
• Energy storage policy and regulatory frameworks

Manuscripts will be peer-reviewed by experts in the field and selected based on their originality, technical soundness, and relevance to the special issue's theme. Submissions should be made through the journal's online submission system.

Important dates:

• Submission deadline: June 30, 2023
• First round of reviews: July 30, 2023
• Final decision: August 30, 2023
• Expected publication: September, 2023
