EKSTRAKSI ECENG GONDOK DENGAN PELARUT KARBONDIOKSIDA SUPERKRITIS

Abstract

It have been done water hyacinth extraction using supercritical fluid. On getting optimal condition extraction condition, temperature and presure supercritical fluid extractor have been adjusted. Shrinking core leaching model was proved fit -well on supercritical extraction by a lot authors and in this work it's used to calculate mass transfer coeficient of the process. Dry water hyacinth roots grinded and screened with the size 20 mesh and put it in extractor apparatus. Exctraction processes done on the pressure 120 atm and 140 atm. Temperature control set on 50 °C and 60 °C. CO2 and flowrate set on 0,002 m3/min,0,0025 m3/min,0,003 m3/min,0,0035 m3/min and 0,004 m3/min. Pressure on 140 atm show higher yield than 120 atm on any temperature. Temperature 50 °C show higher yield than 60· °C and optimal flowrate for 120 atm presure and 50 °C temperature is 0,003 m3!min.
