PENINGKATAN PRODUKSI DENGAN PENYEMPURNAAN PERALATAN BIOREAKTOR DAN PERBAIKAN SISTEM MANAJEMEN INTERNAL MELALUI PROGRAM TEKNOLOGI TEPAT TERAPAN (TTT) DI CV.GREEN GARDEN PUPUK ORGANIK FERTILE BOYOLALI

Abstract

Poverty and unemployment are the major problems in most developing countries such as Indonesia. As an organic fertilizer producer and marketer, CV Green Garden treats them as a potential support in business improvement. But, the management weaknesses and production process reliability are the constraints in developing it while the demand increases rapidly. This program increases production capacity by applying efficient technology for improving product quality and production process particularly in bioreactor and mixer. A series of experiments by varying circulation pump rotation rate at 200, 400, 600, 800 and 1000 rpm, and raw solid fertilizer feed at 2.5, 5.0, 7.5, 10 and 12.5 kg were executed for designing proper bioreactor. The product quality was analyzed to detect potassium content in the fertilizer. The result shows that the appropriate diameter of bioreactor is 17 cm, the height is 109 cm, the shell thickness is 0.1875”, and the suitable material of construction is SA-167 grade 10 type 310. The bioreactor is equipped with a 30 cm diameter of clarifier, a heater tank (11 cm of diameter and 22 cm of height), and a feed tank (40 cm of diameter and 20 cm of height). This bioreactor converts 80% of raw solid fertilizer into liquid organic fertilizer feed. It also reduces the retention time from seven to three days. The capacity building was established by increasing in employees’ discipline.
