KECEPATAN PEMBAKARAN KAYU PADATUNGKU SEBAGAI FUNGSI DEBIT OKSIGEN

Abstract

One of the wastes of furniture industry is sawdust. The sawdust is a useful waste as a fuel. Generally burning process needs enough oxygen supply. The oxygen and fuel ratio is one of the key factors in gaining efficient burning process. The objective of this research was to get the proper burning process condition in varied oxygen debit. The measured subject of this research is lubricating oil. The temperature of the heated oil was observed in the certain interval of time and in certain oxygen debit used. Using dimension analysis method, the relationship between the velocity of burnt sawdust mass reduction withrrespect to oxygen debit would be developed. The result of the experiment was:
