Abstract

Nano technology is a material technology that deals with the creation of small objects in the nanometer size. Nano sized materials have chemical and physical properties that are superior to large size material. The material that can be used as nano-meter size is tungsten trioxide (WO3). One of the methods to obtain the tungsten trioksida (WO3) nano materials is flame assisted spray pyrolysis. This study aims to determine the shape, size, morphology, and crystallization of the tungsten trioxide produced by flame assisted spray pyrolisis. The research was conducted using the varied concentrations of 0.005 M, 0.001 M, 0.02 M, and air flow rate of 4, 6.5, 8 L/menit. Then, the products were analyzed using SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopy) and XRD (X-Ray Diffractometry). The optimum condition is achieved at the concentration of 0.02 M and the air flow rate of 8.
