One idea to overcome the high cost production is reducing the cost of the purification process. Alternative purification process is air stripping process. The aim of this study is to obtain the optimum air flow rate in the stripping process of bioethanol solution. The equipments used in the study are the stripper column, ball packing materials, compressors, condensor, and flowmeter. The process was done at room temperature, atmospheric pressure, and 47 cm height of packing of packing ball diameter of 1 cm. The flow rate of air entering the stripper column was 4,6; 5,9; and 7,1 liters of air / min. The result of this study shows that the optimum air flow rate was 7,1 liters of air/min.
