LAYANAN KOMPREHENSIF BERKESINAMBUNGAN TERHADAP ANAK DENGAN HIV/AIDS DI KOTA SURAKARTA (Studi Kasus Anak dengan HIV/AIDS di Rumah Singgah Lentera Surakarta)

Abstract


This research aims to find out  the condition of the children with HIV/AIDS in Rumah Singgah Lentera and Implementation, results and barriers of Sustainable Comprehensive Service in the Rumah Singgah Lentera. This research used action theory proposed by Talcott Parsons. Type of this research is a case study. Data was taken by observation, interview and documentation technique. Samples taken by using purposive sampling technique. To ensure the validity of data triangulation source was used, while the analysis of the data interactive model was used. Results of the study shows that the promotif service undertaken by Rumah Singgah Lentera is socializing to the society and socializing through the media. Preventive service undertaken by Rumah Singgah Lentera is prevention of transmission of productive women at risk and prevention of transmission from mother to child. Curative service undertaken by Rumah Singgah Lentera is providing ARV therapy for all of childern with HIV/AIDS in Rumah Singgah Lentera and supported by other treatment. Rehabilitative service  by the fulfillment of basic needs, access to attend school and fulfillment affection needs. Results from the implementation of Sustainable Comprehensive Service is increasing awareness to checked HIV, Increasing knowledge of productive women at risk, Prevention mother to childern transmition that accomanied by Rumah Singgah Lentera, increase health condition of children with HIV/AIDS, decreased opportunistic infections, fulfillment basic needs, access to attend school and fulfillment affection needs. The barriers in the implementation of Sustainable Comprehensive Service is of limited human resources, the limitations of funding and availability of medicines and healthcare facilities that have not been fullest.
