HUBUNGAN DIVERSIFIKASI PENDAPATAN DENGAN KETAHANAN PANGAN RUMAH TANGGA PETANI DI KECAMATAN NALUMSARI KABUPATEN JEPARA
Abstract
Food security is a situation in which households at all times have access to and control both physically and economically over sufficient quantities of good quality food to be able to live healthy, active and productive lives in a sustainable manner. The research location was carried out in Nalumsari District, Jepara Regency, precisely in Printulis Village and Tunggulpandean Village. Sampling was carried out by purposive sampling with a total of 44 rice farming household respondents. The data analyzed is in the form of quantitative data including 1) analysis of income diversification 2) analysis of the proportion of food expenditure to total expenditure, 3) analysis of energi consumption levels and household food security, 5) analysis of chi-square data to examine the relationship between income diversification and household food security ladder. The results showed that the level of diversification of the respondent's household income was relatively high, namely 2.152. The proportion of household food expenditure for respondents was 54.65% or IDR 1,306,682/month. The energi consumption level of the respondent's household is 83.07% which belongs to the medium energi consumption category. The condition of the food security of the respondent households includes 34.09% food security, 20.45% food vulnerability, and 22.73%, for food shortages and food insecurity. The relationship between income diversification and food security shows an Asymp- sig 2 Sided result of 0.248 which means that there is no significant relationship between income diversification and food security.
