ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PRODUKSI PADI DI KOTA METRO

Abstract

This study aims to determine the performance of rice farming, determine the costs, income and profits of rice farming, and determine the factors that influence rice production in Metro City. The basic method of this research is descriptive survey technique. Determination of the area is done by purposive method. The method of determining the sample was carried out using a proportional random sampling. Analysis of the data used is the analysis of costs, revenues, income, and profits of rice farming, and Econometrics with multiple linear regression models. The results of the research mean that the average cost of rice farming in Metro City during one growing season is IDR 6,898,266 for a land area of 0.55 ha. The average income earned by farmers in conducting farming during one growing season is IDR 16,197,389/0.55 ha. The income earned by farmers is IDR 10,202,924/0.55 ha. The profit received by the farmer is IDR 9,299,123/0.55 ha. Factors that influence rice production in Metro City are land area, seeds, Urea fertilizer, NPK, SP36 fertilizer, pesticides, and labor, and distance from the city. It is recommended, (1) It is recommended that there be intensification of agriculture, namely processing existing agricultural land as well as possible to increase production. (2) Farmers are expected to use superior quality seeds so that rice plants are more resistant to pest attacks. (3) Farmers are expected to be able to use fertilizer completely and optimally so that production results increase.
