ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMENGARUHI PERMINTAAN KACANG TANAH DI KABUPATEN WONOGIRI

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the demand for peanuts in Wonogiri Regency, the most influential factors, and the elasticity of demand for peanuts in Wonogiri Regency. The basic method in this research uses descriptive-analytical. This survey was conducted in Wonogiri Regency. This study uses secondary data for 11 years, from 2010 to 2020. Data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis. The analysis results show that the factors that significantly influence the demand for peanuts in Wonogiri Regency are income per capita, soybean prices, and cashew nut prices. Factors that do not significantly affect the demand for peanuts in Wonogiri Regency are the population and the price of peanuts. The most influential factor in the demand for peanuts in Wonogiri Regency is the soybean prices with a standard regression coefficient of -0.863. The cross elasticity of demand for peanuts in Wonogiri Regency from the price of soybeans is -6.229, E < 0, and from the price of cashew nuts is -2.885 < 0, indicating that soybeans and cashew nuts are complementary goods to peanuts. The income elasticity of demand for peanuts in Wonogiri Regency is -2.192, the elasticity with a negative sign indicates that peanut is an inferior good.
