ANALISIS KINERJA PERDAGANGAN DAN DAYA SAING KOMODITAS VANILI INDONESIA DI PASAR INTERNASIONAL PERIODE 2010-2019

Abstract

This study aims to determine the trade performance and competitiveness of Indonesian vanilla in the international market for the 2010-2019 period. The basic method used is descriptive method. The research location was chosen purposively in Indonesia. The type of data is secondary data. The data analysis method is the analysis of the Indonesian vanilla trade balance and the Trade Specialization Index (ISP) to determine trade performance, Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA), and Export Competitiveness Index (ECI) to determine comparative and competitive competitiveness. The results show that the trade performance of Indonesian vanilla in the 2010-2019 period based on the trade balance analysis shows a positive value and has an average ISP value of 0.79 making Indonesia an exporter of vanilla in the international market. The competitiveness of Indonesian vanilla has an average RCA value of 5.71 which means that Indonesian vanilla has a comparative advantage over the world average and highly competitive and has an average ECI value of 1.1 which means that Indonesian vanilla has a competitive advantage and increased competitiveness trend in the international market.
