Abstract

Abstract : This research aims to examine the pattern of marketing channels; marketing costs, profits and margins; the most economically efficient marketing channels; and analyze the influence of sales volume, marketing costs, the distance of farmers and buyers to the marketing margins of cashews in Wonogiri Regency. The analytical methods used are analysis of marketing channel patterns; marketing costs, profits and margins; economic marketing efficiency; factor analysis. The results of the study show that the marketing channels formed are three patterns. Total marketing cost of marketing channel I, II, III in a row is IDR 4,614/kg, IDR 4,471/kg, IDR 3,072/kg. Marketing channel profits I,II,III in a row is IDR 9,492/kg, IDR 8,821/kg, IDR 8,213/kg. Marketing margin percentage of marketing channels I, II, III in a row is 41,88%, 40,90%, 36,74%. The most economically efficient marketing channel is the marketing channel III.  The three variables if tested simultaneously affect the marketing margins. The marketing cost variable partially has a significant effect on the marketing margin.
