ANALISIS RISIKO USAHATANI BUAH PEPAYA CALIFORNIA di KABUPATEN KEBUMEN

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the amount of costs and income received by farmers; know the level of risk in California papaya farming in Puring District and Karangsambung District of Kebumen Regency; as well as knowing the risk management efforts. Data analysis methods used are: (1) cost, revenue, income analysis, (2) analysis of production risk, price risk, income risk. The results of this study indicate that the California papaya farmers in the Puring District obtained an average production cost of IDR 57,527,721/Ha, an average income of IDR 187,298,220/Ha while in Karangsambung District an average production cost of IDR 52,542,510/Ha, the average income of IDR141,798,011/Ha in 1 year. California papaya farming in Karangsambung sub-district is more risky than in Puring sub-district in terms of price and income. Efforts to overcome risks by farmers are still incompatible with the advice of agricultural extension workers.
