ANALISIS FAKTOR YANG MEMENGARUHI PERMINTAAN JERUK PAMELO TINGKAT RUMAH TANGGA DI KABUPATEN MAGETAN

Abstract

ABSTRACT: This research aims to dermine what factors influence, what factors most influence, determine the elasticity of demand of the Pomelo at the household level in Magetan City. The basic research methode used in this research is analytical descriptive methode. This research used primer and secondary data. This research also used descriptive methode with survey technique. The location of survey was chosen based on purposive, which were in Sukomoro and Bendo sub-districts. The sampling methode used in this research, is convenience sampling with 40 samples. The data analysis used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the research showed that factors such as the prices of Pomelo oranges, indigenous tangerines, the price of the bananas and mangoes, the total of family members, and the income of the households together affected the demand towards the Pomelo oranges in Magetan. While the factors which affecting individually were the price of the Pomelo oranges, the total of the family members and the income of the consumers. With the factor which influenced the most was the income of the consumers. The elasticity of the price was inelastic, with -0,813 elasticity, and elasticity of income shown that Pomelo included in normal goods with 0,759 elasticity.
