ANALISIS KETAHANAN PANGAN RUMAH TANGGA PETANI PADI DI KABUPATEN KLATEN BERDASARKAN PROPORSI PENGELUARAN PANGAN DAN KONSUMSI ENERGI

Abstract

ABSTRACT : The purpose of this research is to determine the amount of income and expenditure of rice farmers households, the proportion of food expenditure to the total expenditure or rice farmers, household energy consumption of rice farmers, and the food security conditions of rice farmers households in Klaten District. The basic method used in this research was descriptive and analytic. The determination of the sample area was purposive and the determination of respondents was simple random sampling with 60 farmer as respondent. The technique of collecting data by interview, recording, and recall method. The data analysis method used analysis of farm household income and expenditure, analysis of the proportion of food expenditure to total expenditure of farm households, analysis of farm household energy consumption levels, and analysis of farm household food security levels. The analysis result showed that the household income of rice farmers in the Klaten District is Rp 3.797.763,43/month, consists of on-farm income IDR 1,329,069.44/month (35.00%), off-farm income IDR 598,360.66/month (15.76%), and non-farm income IDR 1,870,333.33/month (49.24%). Total expenditure of rice farmers households in Klaten District is IDR 2,065,431.16/month, consists of food expenditure IDR 1,085,830.33/month and non-food expenditure IDR 979,600.83/month. The proportion of food expenditure is 52.66% of the total expenditure of rice farmer households. The average level of energy consumption is 80.78% and included in the medium category. The conditions of food security of the rice farmers household in Klaten District consists of 40% less food, 26.67% food resistant, 21.67% food vulnerability, and 11.67% food insecurity.
