STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN KELOMPOK WANITA TANI WIJAYA KUSUMA DALAM MENGOPTIMALKAN LAHAN PEKARANGAN RUMAH TANGGA DI KABUPATEN SRAGEN

Abstract

ABSTRACT : KWT is the group that designated as the executor of the sustainable food house area program. Sustainable food houses area utilize the potential of the yard for crop cultivation activities in order to meet the food needs at the household level. The purpose of this research is to find out the contribution of the sustainable food area program in increasing income of KWT Wijaya Kusuma, identifying internal and external factors, formulate the alternative strategies, and determining the priority strategies for KWT Wijaya Kusuma. The basic method of this research is descriptive and analytical methods. The location was determined purposively ini KWT Wijaya Kusuma, the method of determining respondents using census techniques and the key informant was chosen purposively. Data analysis using analysis tool farming analysis, Grand Startegy, SWOT Analysis, and QSPM. The results of the research showed that the average farm income from sustainable food houses is IDR337,800/35m2/period of time,The average explicit cost is IDR 84,900/35m2/period of time, average implicit cost is IDR 630,578/35m2/period of time, and the average income received from sustainable food houses area is IDR 252,900/35m2/period of time. Income contribution from sustainable food house areas is 1.67% of all household income. The main strength is the natural conditions are supporting to the activities of crop cultivation and the main weakness is the lack of innovation in optimizing the yard activities. The main opportunity is the extension agents active to give information and motivation to the member and the main threat is the sale of vegetables is hampered because of the COVID-19 outbreak. Based on the result of Grand Strategy matrix analysis, the difference score between strength and weakness is 1.185 and the difference score between oppotunity and threat is 1.167, placed KWT Wijaya Kusuma in quadrant I. The formulation of alternative strategies is SO (Strengths-Opportunities). The results of priority startegy using QSPM show that the strategy improve the skills and activeness of KWT Wijaya Kusuma in crop cultivation activities chosen for the development of KWT Wijaya Kusuma.
