Abstract

Abstract:Urban farming is a narrow-land agricultural solution. The fact urban farming has not known by the society. This study aims to analyze the characteristics and relationships of websitevisitor, the dimensions of website quality, with the effectiveness of urban farmingwebsites as a medium for transmission information. The basic method of research is descriptive method. Analysis of the data used is the width of the interval, rank spearman and t test. The results of the study show that the dimensions of website quality have a good category. The results of the Spearman rank analysis, for the website characteristics variable, age, education level, occupation and income level have a significant relationship with online participation variables. The correlation relationship between age and online participation is two-way and the correlation between education, job and income levels has a one-way relationship with online participation. The results of rank spearman analysis for dimensions of websit quality with effectiveness variables have a significant relationship for several dependent variables. Effectiveness of the website as a medium for transmission information can be improved by improving aspects in the dimensions of the quality of the website.
