ANALISIS USAHA DAN NILAI TAMBAH NIRA KELAPA MENJADI GULA KELAPA DI KECAMATAN GRABAG KABUPATEN PURWOREJO

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the amount of income, efficiency and added value business of processing coconut sap into coconut sugar in Grabag District, Purworejo Regency. The basic method of research is descriptive analysis method. The method to determining the location of the study was purposive, by choosing Grabag Subdistrict as the location of the study on the consideration that the District of Grabag had the largest coconut sugar production in Purworejo District. The method for determining the number of samples was carried out proportionally to 30 respondents from 3 villages in Grabag District, that is Sumberagung, Nambangun, and Rejosari villages. The sampling technique is a snowball sampling technique. The data used in the study are primary and secondary data. Data analysis methods used are income analysis, R/C ratio analysis, and value added analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, the average income is 781,898.33 each month. R/C ratio analysis shows this business is efficient with the R/C ratio of 1.41. The amount of added value in once production (day–1) are gross value added is IDR 53,327.80, net added value is IDR 52,892.15, value added per raw material is IDR 1,767.56/liter, and added value per labor is IDR 13,028.58 per time of work.
