STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN AGRIBISNIS CENGKEH DI DESA TENOGO KECAMATAN PANINGGARAN KABUPATEN PEKALONGAN
Abstract
Abstract: The objectives of this research are to (1) identify internal and external factors of clove agribusiness (2) to formulate alternative of clove agribusiness development strategy (3) and to determine priority of clove agribusiness development strategy. The research location of clove agribusiness is in Desa Tenogo Kecamatan Paninggaran Kabupaten Pekalongan. The method of determining the respondents was conducted purposive sampling. The method of analyzing the data used Strategic Position and Action Evaluation Matrix (SPACE) and Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM). The results showed that the total score obtained from the SPACE matrix was (1.7; -0.2) and showed that the clove agribusiness position was in the competitive quadrant. Based on these positions, six alternative strategies are formulated, but four alternative strategies are considered suitable for the existing conditions and that can be applied in clove agribusiness in Desa Tenogo Kecamatan Paninggaran Kabupaten Pekalongan that is developing essential oil industry, establishing and developing nursery industry, emphasizing / tighten the promotions directly to cigarette manufacturers, pharmaceutical industries, fragrance and or food industries, and open online stores. The chosen strategy priority based on QSPM matrix calculation is to establish and develop the nursery industry.
