Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine the internal and external conditions, industrial positions, alternative strategies, and strategy priority for small industry rambak kulit in Surakarta. The research location is Surakarta City. Data analysis used was IFE and EFE matrix, IE matrix, SWOT matrix and QSP matrix. Result of analysis in  cell V of IE matrix that is to maintain with alternative market penetration strategy and product development by optimizing resources to increase production and fulfill market demand, increase cooperation and communication with related stakeholder to get coaching from government, actively access to capital institution from private or government, innovate in product packaging and increase promotion to expand market, optimize production of rambak kulit, improve the quality of products, cooperation with the local government related to guidance and businessassistance the industry. Priority of strategy that can be applied is innovate in product packaging of rambak kulit and increase promotion to expand market.
