PERAN SEKTOR PERTANIAN TERHADAP PENYERAPAN TENAGA KERJA DAN DISTRIBUSI PENDAPATAN DI KABUPATEN KLATEN

Abstract

Abstract : This research aims to analyze the role of agricultural sector in labor absorption, to analyze its regional development component and to analyze the amount of employment opportunities and know the role of agricultural sector in distributing income in Klaten Regency. The analytical tools used are Multiplier Effect, Shift Share, Pure Forecast and Williamson Index. Average employment multiplier in the agricultural sector from the years 2011-2015 Klaten Regency is 1,25. This means that each increase of one person work opportunity in the agricultural sector would increase work opportunity in Klaten Regency as a whole as much as one or two people. The calculation result shows the shift share analysis shift value net in Klaten Regency including the progressive category. The work opportunity projection of agricultural sector in 2020 will increase 193.044 people compared with 2015. The result of income distribution calculation shows that income inequality is low and the distribution of income is almost equal and there is no influence from the agriculture sector on the distribution of income.
