FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI KEUNTUNGAN USAHATANI TERNAK AYAM BROILER DI KABUPATEN KARANGANYAR

Abstract

Abstract:This research aimed to analyze the amount of cost, revenue and profit; finding out the factors that influence the profit; also to analyze the economic efficiency of broiler breeder farming in Karanganyar regency. The method used in this research was analytical descriptive. The research was intentionally conducted in chosen areas including Jumapolo, Gondangrejo and Jatipuro sub districts that belong to Karanganyar regency due to the fact that those areas have the biggest population of broiler chicken among other areas in Karanganyar regency. The respondents were gained by using simple random sampling. Data analysis methods were as followed: (1) cost analysis, revenue and profit; (2) analysis of factors that influence profit; (3) analysis of economic efficiency.The result of this research showed that average of total cost was IDR 185.230.202,42 per period, revenue was IDR 199839586 and the profit reached IDR 13.971.754,91. Factors such as day old chick price, feed convertion ratio (FCR), workers, heating expense, selling price and mortality significantly affected the profit of broiler breeder farming in Karanganyar regency. The combination of production factors used in broiler breeder farming did not reach economic efficiency
