POTENSI SEKTOR PERTANIAN, KEHUTANAN DAN PERIKANAN SERTA PERANANNYA DALAM MENGURANGI KETIMPANGAN PENDAPATAN DI EKS KARESIDENAN SURAKARTA

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to identify the agricultural, forestry and fishery sector base and non-base in the Surakarta Ex-Residency and know the role of the agricultural, forestry and fishery sector in reducing income inequality in the Surakarta Ex-Residency. The basic method used is analytical description method. Methods of data analysis include: (1) Minimum Requirements Technique (MRT); (2) Williamson Index. The results showed that: (1) the basic agricultural, forestry and fishery sector was in Boyolali, Klaten, Wonogiri, Karanganyar and SragenRegency; (2) Non-base agriculture, forestry and fishery sector is located in Sukoharjo Regency; (3) Agriculture, forestry and fishery sector in Boyolali, Klaten, Sukoharjo, Wonogiri, Karanganyar and SragenRegency play a role in reducing income inequality. Advice to each Government is develop agriculture, forestry and fishery sector with keeping the comoditi which have a high potency, increase individual skill who play a role in agriculture, forestry and fishery sector, also expanding UMKM which is produce an agriculture, forestry and fishery’s product.
