Abstract

Abstract: The research aims to determine the performance and role of agriculture in reducing income inequality in Blora Regency. The analytical tools used are Klassen Typology, Locationt Quontient (LQ) and Williamson Index. Based on Klassen Typology, agriculture sectors in Bogorejo, Japah, Jepon, Jiken, Kradenan, Kunduran, Ngawen, Tujungan, Banjarejo, Jati, Kedungtuban, Randublatung, Sambong and Todanan included potential sectors, While in District Blora and Cepu are included weak agricultural sector. The performance of the agricultural sector based on analysis of LQ classify agricultural sector in Bogorejo, Japah, Jepon, Jiken, Kradenan, Kunduran, Ngawen, Tujungan, Banjarejo, Jati, Kedungtuban, Randublatung, Sambong and Todanan classified sector basis, while the District of Blora and Cepu tegolong agricultural sector non bases. Based on the analysis using Williamson index, the agricultural sector of each District in Blora role in reducing income inequality except the District Ngawen.
