HUBUNGAN PEMANFAATAN LAHAN DI BAWAH TEGAKAN (PLDT) PETANI PESANGGEM DENGAN KETAHANAN PANGAN MASYARAKAT DI WILAYAH HUTAN PRODUKSI KABUPATEN GROBOGAN

Abstract

ABSTRACT : This study aims to determine land use under the stands (PLDT) pesanggem farmers, food security communities in the forest areas of production, the relationship between PLDT  pesanggem farmers the food security community in the forest areas of production, and the difference in the effect of the location of the sample population to the food security conditions of society that is relatively close to the forest with community relatively close to the market in Grobogan. The basic method of research was descriptive method. The location of research was in Geyer Subdistrict of Grobogan regency with the most extensive area was mostly covered in forest production. Analysis of data used median scores, rank spearman correlation test and U Mann-Whitney test, the method of determining the number of samples used proportional random sampling and sampling using systematic sampling. The number of respondents in this study were 60 respondents. The results showed a highly significant relationship between income (0.553) with food security, while the age of the head of household (KRT) (-0.008), the main job KRT (0.224), the number of dependents (-0.070), household consumption (0,004), and cropping patterns (.208) had no significant relationship. The results of the analysis of differences in food security conditions of the communities in the sample population was relatively close to the forest with a relatively close to the market with p-value of 0.009 (<0.05), which indicates that the sample population food security conditions are relatively close to the market better than relatively close to the forest.
