HUBUNGAN PERAN WANITA PEDESAAN TERHADAP KESEJAHTERAAN KELUARGA (Studi Kasus : Sentra Peternakan Kambing Peranakan Ettawa Desa Girikerto Kecamatan Turi Kabupaten Sleman)

Abstract

ABSTRACT. The aim of this research are: (1) to analyze the level of  the rural women’s roles in the Girikerto village sub-district Turi Sleman regency, (2) to analyze the level of the rural women’s family welfare in the Girikerto village sub-district of Turi, Sleman regency, and (3) to analyze the relationship between rural women’s roles and family welfare in the Girikerto village sub-district of Turi, Sleman regency. The basic method of this research is quantitative method. Research location is in the Girikerto village which has one of the most goat breeding farmer groups in Turi. The data analysis technique used width inteval formula and rank spearman correlation test. The data collection technique is proportional random sampling. The number of respondent in this research was 40 respondents. The results shows that: (1) the level of the rural women’s roles in the Girikerto village sub-district of Turi, Sleman regency is included in the categories high, (2) the level of the rural women’s family welfare in the Girikerto village sub-district of Turi, Sleman regency belongs to the category of medium, (3) at 95% confidence level, there is a significant relationship between the rural women’s reproductive role and social role towards family welfare in the Girikerto village sub-district of Turi Sleman regency. There is no significant relationship between the rural women’s productive role and the family welfare.
