Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to identify the revenue, the cost and profit , to find out internal and external factors that influence the business development, to know alternative strategies, and  determine the most effective priority strategy applied in develop businesses nata de coco in CV. Bintang Mas. This research uses descriptive analytical basis. Research locations selected intentionally (purposive) in CV. Bintang Mas. Determination of the key informant intentionally (purposive). This research uses primary and secondary data. Data collecting technique was done by interview, observation, and registration. Data analysis techniques use: (1) Analysis of costs, revenues and profit, (2) IFE and EFE Matrix, (3) SWOT Matrix, (4) QSPM.. CV. Bintang Mas’s revenue on March 2016 is Rp 46.000.000,00, the total cost is Rp 36.205.965,00, and the profit is Rp 9.794.035,00. The main strength of internal environmental factor is regularly produced the product with 0.5422 scores. The main weakness of internal environmental factor is low diversification product with 0.0712 scores. The main opportunity of external environmental factor is there is no the same industry in this area with 0.6020 scores. The main threat of external environmental factor is the production process is influenced by season with 0.5664 scores. Alternative business strategies of nata de coco CV. Bintang Mas are increase the quantities of nata de coco product, establish SOP (Standard Operational Procedure) to maintain the quality of nata de coco product, develop nata de coco product and market, and expand the market of product. The priority strategy which can do on nata de coco business CV. Bintang Mas is development of nata de coco product.
