PENINGKATKAN KOMPETENSI DALAM PENYUSUNAN INSTRUMEN PENILAIAN BERBASIS KURIKULUM 2013 MELALUI FOCUS GROUP DISCUSSION (FGD)

Abstract


This research aimed to improve the teacher competency in Special School (School for Student with special needs) in developing a curriculum-based assessment instrument.

This study employed a classroom action research approach. This research was taken place in Kebumen Regency. The subject of this classroom action research consisted of 9 teachers coming from 6 Special Schools in Kebumen Regency. Techniques of collecting data used were FGD, portfolio and test. Technique of analyzing data used was qualitative approach with descriptive comparative technique.

The result of research showed that FGD could improve teacher competency in developing a curriculum-based assessment instrument with the mean score of 53.83 in prior condition increasing to 81.66 (51.55%).

Considering the result of analysis, it could be concluded that FGD could improve the competency in developing a 2013 curriculum-based assessment instrument among the teachers of Special School in Kebumen Regency.
