Mindfulness dan Depresi pada Tenaga Kesehatan

Abstract


Tenaga kesehatan mengalami beragam tekanan yang dapat meningkatkan risiko depresi. Penelitian ini menginvestigasi hubungan antara tingkat mindfulness dan tingkat depresi pada tenaga kesehatan. Pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional digunakan dengan data dikumpulkan melalui formulir online dari 72 responden tenaga kesehatan. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Five Facet Mindfulness Questionnaire (FFMQ) untuk mengukur mindfulness dan Beck Depression Inventory-II (BDI-II) untuk mengukur tingkat depresi. Hasil menunjukkan adanya hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara mindfulness dan depresi (r = -0,384, p <0,05). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat mindfulness berkaitan dengan rendahnya Tingkat depresi dan sebaliknya. Implikasi penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya memperhatikan kesejahteraan mental tenaga kesehatan dan pentingnya pengembangan program intervensi mindfulness yang dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan tenaga kesehatan.
