Dampak Psikologis pada Perawat Setelah Mendapatkan Vaksin Covid – 19

Abstract


The COVID-19 or Corona Virus Disease has become an outbreak for the world. During the COVID-19 pandemic, nurses who work on the front – line and are involved in caring for COVID-19 patient have a high risk of transmission. Nurses have to face many sources of stress, for example: the number of sick patient and patient who died, moreover the threat of the virus to the nurse’s personal safety. One of the efforts from government to overcome the disaster is through vaccinations, especially to nurses. This study aims to determine the psychological impact on nurses after getting the vaccine. A total of 48 nurses at the Surakarta Mental Hospital were involved in this study. After getting the vaccine, almost of nurses were found to have no signs of stress, depression, and anxiety. In addition, nurses get any positive psychological effects after they was getting the Covid – 19 vaccine.
