Nowadays, the development of computers not only touches the newest technology, but it is successfully bringing the past in pursuing a culture to get up to date. A proof of the technological developments has carried out by Pixel People Project by Batik Fractal and jBatik. Started from their research on 2007, Pixel People Project succeeds to find the relationship between science and art in fractals and batik. This article is trying to find out deeply about Batik Fractal and jBatik from art and design. In achieving the result, this research is using a particular design approach especially design technology
