TEKNIK ISOTOPE DILUTION-MASS SPECTROMETRY DALAM ANALISIS SENYAWA ORGANIK: KAJIAN LITERATUR

Abstract

Banyak keputusan yang berkaitan dengan masalah keamanan, kesehatan, dan kebijakan lainnya harus diambil berdasarkan hasil pengujian yang absah dalam menentukan keberadaan senyawa organik. Metode analisis dalam pengukuran kimia memiliki peranan penting dalam menyediakan hasil pengujian yang dapat dipercaya. Sehingga, metode analisis berakurasi tinggi sangat dibutuhkan sebagai salah satu pondasi jaminan hasil pengukuran. Teknik isotope dilution-mass spectrometry (ID-MS) diakui sebagai teknik analisis yang dapat memberikan akurasi dan presisi metode yang tinggi melalui penambahan senyawa isotopik dari target analit yang diukur, menyebabkan gangguan yang ada selama proses preparasi sampel dapat dihilangkan. Karena sifat metrologi berkualitas tinggi ini, teknik ID-MS, yang berkembang seiring dengan keuntungan analisis senyawa organik menggunakan detektor mass spectrometry (MS), dikenal sebagai metode primer dalam pengukuran kimia. Kajian literatur ini menyampaikan prinsip dasar, perkembangan dan karakteristik ID-MS, tantangan ID-MS dalam penentuan senyawa organik di beberapa matriks sampel, serta aplikasi ID-MS terkini di bidang metrologi kimia, khususnya dalam mengkarakterisasi bahan acuan bersertifikat (Certified Reference Material).
