Abstract
This study looks at how well children's rights are being upheld in Gambiranom Village, Baturetno, Wonogiri, where a large number of children was born in 2023. Given that children are the generation of the future, it is imperative that their rights be upheld and respected. According to Indonesian law on child protection, the goal of this research is to evaluate parents' and the community's awareness of and obstacles with respect to children's rights. Data were gathered through interviews with village leaders and parents, focusing on their opinions on children's rights and the challenges they face, using an empirical legal research methodology. The results show that parents are generally aware of how important it is to watch after and educate their kids. However, there are a lot of concerns associated with issues like socially unfavorable settings and technological impacts. The report emphasizes how important it is for parents, the community, and the government to work together to provide a nurturing environment for kids development and to make sure their rights are appropriately upheld. All things considered, even though the rights of children are being recognized more fully, more needs to be done in terms of community involvement and education in order to solve current issues and improve the wellbeing of the kids in Gambiranom Village.
